Mark (Secondary)
Mark is an Oxford Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status, CRB checked with 30 years experience of teaching and tutoring. He has helped many students achieve the exam grades they needed at GCSE and A level, encouraged students to really think rather than learn by rote and rekindled an enjoyment of the subject. He is proud to have studied with the greatest living mathematics educator, Professor Zoltan Dienes, who invented the Dienes blocks used for teaching "hundreds, tens and units" used in schools around the world). Mark is friendly and patient with a sense of humour.

Miri (Primary)

Miri is Montessori trainedwith 20 years experienceas a primary teacher and private tutor in Mathematics. She is also an expert in teaching young people to read using phonics - she has written her own beginning reading books and other materials. Very friendly, patient and able to motivate young students.
